Brian Bailey, Senior Managing Director and Head of Research, Trimont
Based in Trimont’s Atlanta office, Brian leads Trimont’s research efforts, monitoring emerging economic and commercial real estate (CRE) trends and delivering forward-looking insights. His expertise will be instrumental in providing Trimont’s clients with analytics and actionable insights while navigating today’s complex market landscape.

Brian joins Trimont after spending 14 years at the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta as a CRE subject matter expert and senior financial policy advisor. Over the years, he has been widely recognized as the Federal Reserve System CRE expert. Brian’s work informed three Federal Reserve chairs, five central banks, and the International Monetary Fund. He briefed Chair Jerome Powell, the Board of Governors, multiple policymakers and thousands of banks on CRE and finance trends.

Brian has extensive experience, spanning both the public and private sectors, with commercial real estate valuation, transaction, development, and financial issues. Prior to joining the Atlanta Fed, he oversaw real estate finance and acquisitions at private equity firm Tavistock Group, ran real estate finance for Florida’s largest developer Flagler, and was an executive at Ernst & Young. He was responsible for valuation, directing due diligence and financial modeling operations, which included assessing and identifying the most financially feasible development scenarios.
