An Inside Look Into The James Museum of Western and Wildlife Art
Join REIC on Wednesday, April 18th for an "inside look" into the James Museum of Western and Wildlife Art. Laura Hine, an independent consultant who has served as Project Director for the development, will give us an inside look into this 133,000 sf urban mixed-use redevelopment project. This event will be from 6pm - 8pm Wed, April 18, 2018 $60.00 – Members Online pre-registration closes 4/16/18 About this Project: In the fall of 2015, Laura was hired by Tom an Mary James to lead the effort of designing and building The James Museum of Western and Wildlife Art in downtown St. Petersburg. This is a $65M, 133,000 sf urban mixed-use redevelopment project that includes 89,000sf of museum space and 44,000sf of lease space: office, retail and restaurant. For the museum, Laura lead the early programming sessions; city development meetings and negotiations; interviews, selection and contracts with architects and builders and GMP negotiations. As for the commercial space, Laura manages the leasing agents, assesses and negotiates potential deals, leads the LOI and lease process, as well as oversees through the tenant opening.
